Inspire Center – New Theme!

The Inspire Center brings history and problem-solving together in a hands-on creative space for visitors of all ages! Look closely at objects from the Connecticut Museum collection, get inspired, and work together to create something new. October's challenge is to identify your favorite fairy tale and design a one-of-a-kind object inspired by the story!

Family Program: Construction Zone

Grab your hard hat and tool belt! Join us at the Museum where kids can become construction workers for the day! Families will build with foam bricks and blocks, create blueprints, and learn about some of the tools and vehicles used on construction sites.

Join us for a special family story time! Surrounded by books in the exhibit Connecticut's Bookshelf, families will cozy up in beanbags, listen to a story, and then do some crafts!
