Ukrainian pysanky master artist Paul Luniw will instruct families in pysanky, the traditional Ukrainian decorative art of creating intricately designed eggs. Families are invited to join us for a reading of the Dr. Seuss classic Green Eggs and Ham at 10:15, 11:15, or 12:15, where we’ll learn that weird things can surprise us if we give them a try. In the spirit of Sam-I-Am, kids can create wacky colorful “food” of the future.

We'll share the story of fashion in Connecticut with everything from wedding dresses to corsets, but we'll also explore how women worked to secure their health, freedom, and political participation, a story that shouldn't be eclipsed by what they wore. Visit storage and collection areas not normally open to the public, and learn how the CMCH preserves the stories of Connecticut.
