The Inspire Center brings history and problem-solving together in a hands-on creative space for visitors of all ages! Look closely at objects from the Connecticut Museum collection, get inspired, and work together to create something new. December's challenge is to improve the way we communicate!
Cocoa and Crafts: The Coffeemonsters Book
Did you know coffee stains can be used to make silly monsters? Sip hot cocoa and munch on treats while enjoying a reading of The Coffeemonsters Book, written by Stefan Kunhigk. Then, families will make their own book of coffee-stain monsters and short stories.

What communities to you belong to? What are some things we can do as part of a community to make positive change? Visit the Museum for a reading of "I am We: A Story of Community," written by Susan Verde, while sipping hot cocoa and munching on treats! Then, families will make their own community-inspired art project.
