Visit the CMCH during winter break for an afternoon of innovation and creativity, and work with your family to engineer a structure that can support weight. Come up with a design, plan it out using paper, pencil, or LEGO bricks, then choose from a variety of materials, like straws, toothpicks, and newspapers, to build your structure. See if you can build something that will support a book, a box, or even you!
The drop-in program is great for ages 5 and up. Free for CMCH members, free with admission for non-members. For more information, call (860) 236-5621 x222 or email corinne_swanson@chs.org.
