Join us to celebrate the opening of our newest exhibition, Wide Awakes: Campaigning for Lincoln.
During a time of deep political division and fears of a civil war, five young men from Hartford, Connecticut formed a campaign organization that became a nationwide movement and helped elect a president. The exhibition tells the story of the Wide Awakes, and the impact of their political organization.
This event is free and open to the public! The reception begins at 6 pm. Refreshments will be served.
Please let us know if you will be able to join us! RSVP by September 16th through the button below.
