Planning your spring break activities? Come visit us at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History and check out our ART-ifacts. We’ll take a close look at historic objects in the museum, focusing on a different material each day to guide you through the exhibits and hands-on activities. Kids can also make their own ART-ifact to take home.
On Friday, discover how metal is transformed into swords, lanterns, and other metal ART-ifacts. Design and make a punched tin lantern to take home.
This drop-in program is great for ages 6 to 10. Free for CMCH members, free with general admission for non-members. For more information, call (860) 236-5621 x222 or email corinne_swanson@chs.org.
