Fashion & Textile Council Annual Lecture
Colleen Hill, Associate Curator of the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology, examines avant-garde and artistic shoe designs of the 21st century, focusing on extreme silhouettes, elaborate construction techniques, and unusual materials to showcase how shoe design has become the medium for some of the most innovative and conceptual ideas in contemporary fashion.
Wine and refreshments will be served. Please bring a pair of gently used shoes to donate to a local charity.
Free for Fashion and Textile Council Members, $10 CMCH members and CCSU students and faculty, $15 non-members.
