Join us in learning the basics of linocut printmaking! In this workshop, led by folk artist Philitha Stemplys-Cowdrey, you will be guided through the whole “block print” process: from designing a pattern, transferring, carving, testing and printing your design to take home. No printmaking experience required, and people of all artistic abilities are welcome. Even if you think you can’t draw, you can print! All the tools and materials will be provided; however, participants are encouraged to bring any print making tools they wish to use.
This workshop will be structured for the beginner, but all levels of expertise are encouraged to register! Suitable for ages 16 and up.
