Come see mannequins dressed in fabulous gowns dating from the 1910s, learn how those vintage looks inspire today’s fashions, and let our runway models show you how to add vintage touches to your own wardrobe. CMCH will curate a small pop-up exhibit to accompany Haute History that will feature costumes from the 1910s through 1970s that will serve as inspiration for the looks presented on the catwalk. We will project additional images of costumes from our collection on the wall behind the stage, and offer commentary that explains the design and history of the collection pieces and connects them to today’s runway looks provided by Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets. Visitors will be able to tour the pop-up exhibit before and after the fashion show, enjoy light refreshments, and tour the museum galleries to make a perfect Mother’s Day weekend outing.
Tickets are $20 for CMCH Members and $25 for non-members. Please purchase tickets online here.
Celebrity emcee for the event is Judy Goss, TV personality; news correspondent, lifestyle expert and host of the radio show What Women Want on L.A. Talk Radio. Her organization, Over 40 Females®, a live and online networking community that connects, engages and inspires women over the age of 40, is a sponsor of the event.
