Explore the history behind your Instagram filters in this hands-on workshop designed just for kids! We’ll go behind-the-scenes to see how photography has evolved over the years and make our own pinhole cameras and zoetropes to take home. We’ll then look at photography today as we try out documentary photography around the museum.
Please note: students participating in this workshop are required to bring a device with a camera. This program is appropriate for students ages 10-14. The cost is $8 per student for members and $10 per student for non-members (no cost for parents or guardians). Space is limited and pre-registration is required. To register or for more information, please call (860) 236-5621 x222 or email corinne_swanson@chs.org.
