Goonies: Growing Up at the Movies

We asked you to vote for your favorite childhood movies and we’re showing the winners on Tuesday afternoons in July. Movies are free with admission. Popcorn provided.

For Generation X, the winner was The Goonies (1985). It is just like you remember it –the Goonies are a group of seven young friends from a small Northwest town who find themselves on a thrilling underground adventure filled with humor and heart-pounding peril as they seek the secrets behind the treasure of the notorious pirate, One-Eyed Willie.
