Spend the afternoon on the farm! Children and their families are invited to meet us at Auerfarm in Bloomfield, CT to learn how local farms produce food.
Kids will have the chance to get their hands dirty and learn how farmers (100 years ago and today) have grown plants and vegetables in Connecticut. There will also be an opportunity to take a hayride tour of the farm and visit with all of the animal friends. This program is presented in conjunction with our exhibit Facing War: Connecticut in World War I.
The cost is $10 per person. Space is limited, please RSVP at rsvp@chs.org or call (860) 236-5621 x238. Meet us at the main office at Auerfarm at 158 Auer Farm Road, Bloomfield, CT 06002 at 2:00 pm to begin the program.
