The Connecticut Museum of Culture and History’s Community History Project (CHP) is a new, public-facing initiative, focused on contemporary collecting, which gathers items of the recent past as well as from events happening today. This program will develop community historians to identify, document, and preserve their experiences as residents of Connecticut, and share these experiences during a series of community presentations.
Come to this kick-off to learn about this project and how you can be a part of it. Light refreshments will be served.
Doors open at 5:00 pm — come early to see our exhibit galleries! Program starts at 6:00 pm.
No registration is required, but you can let us know you’re coming at rsvp@chs.org.
