Join members of CMCH’s Decorative Arts Council for a road trip to the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts.
Our adventure at Peabody Essex will focus on the museum’s celebrated collection of Asian export art. Participants will enjoy a curator-led tour of Importing Splendor: Luxuries From China and Japanomania: Japanese Art Goes Global. Our visit will also include an exploration of the Yin Yu Tang House, a 200-year-old Chinese home that was relocated to the Peabody Essex Museum. Delicious lunch is included. The bus will depart the CMCH at 7:15 am and return at 6:00 pm.
The trip is $85 for CMCH members and $95 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
The trip is free for subscribers to the CMCH Decorative Arts Council. Interested in subscribing to collections-based programming events at CMCH? Learn more here!
