Every year, hundreds of thousands of aspiring American citizens take the USCIS Citizenship test. Over 90% pass. Would you?
In 2020, the CMCH partnered with the New-York Historical Society to teach the Citizenship Project, which uses museum collections to help green card holders practice for the civics portion of the citizenship test. In this hour, we’ll give you a chance to (anonymously) answer some of the questions on the current exam. And we’ll show you how we’re using historical objects and documents to help teach the test.
This program is free, but you can make a donation to support public programs at the CMCH. Click here to register. You’ll receive an email confirmation with the Zoom link in an attached ticket, and we’ll send you a reminder at noon on the day of the program.
