Join Speak Up for a special night of captivating storytelling in celebration of the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History’s bicentennial!
This unforgettable event will feature a lineup of talented storytellers sharing personal tales about birthdays—from the heartwarming to the hilarious and everything in between. Matthew Dicks, bestselling author, master storyteller, and multiple Moth GrandSLAM champion, will take the stage alongside an incredible cast of performers, each bringing their unique experiences to life. The evening will be expertly emceed by Elysa Dicks, ensuring a night of laughter, reflection, and connection. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind tribute to history, storytelling, and the moments that make us who we are!
Doors open at 6:00 pm; come early to view our exhibitions, including Coffee: a Connecticut Story. Performance starts at 7:00 pm. Snacks, soft drinks, and wine included!
