Did you know that Connecticut was once home to the “Hat City of the World”? By the 1850s hatting was the biggest industry in Danbury, CT! Families will go on a scavenger hunt through the museum, make hats using a variety of materials, and learn how hats throughout history can tell us about the style, interests, and jobs of people in Connecticut.
This program is included with the cost of Museum admission and is great for children of all ages. This is a drop-in program; no pre-registration required.
