What role did queer suffragists play in the fight to win the vote? How did suffragists both reinforce and challenge heteronormative views of gender and sexuality? In this virtual talk, historian Wendy Rouse will share findings from her current project, “The Queer History of the Women’s Suffrage Movement.”
This event will take place over Zoom. Tickets are $5 for CMCH members, $8 for non-members. You can register here via Yapsody. When you purchase your ticket, you’ll receive a receipt from Yapsody with the Zoom link attached. We’ll also send you an emailed reminder two hours before the program begins.
