What was a day like for a Connecticut soldier fighting during World War I? Find out at Family Adventure Day! Search for clues about soldiers’ experiences in our exhibit Facing War: Connecticut in World War I, take a break for (pretend) “coffee” and “donuts” in the Y.M.C.A hut, and design a patch to wear or a postcard to send home.
Family Adventure Days are a great way to escape the summer heat and explore the museum with your family. Drop in during the morning or afternoon for fun activities, crafts, and more.
These family programs are geared for children ages 7-11, siblings are welcome. Free for CMCH members, free with general admission to the museum for non-members. Questions? Please contact the Coordinator of Youth & Family Programs at corinne_swanson@chs.org or call (860) 236-5621 x222.
