Explore life in the past! At August Adventures, children can discover Connecticut’s history with a week of games, crafts, gallery visits, and more!
History Detectives programs run Monday through Friday and are designed for children ages 7-12. In Session 1, children will be investigating and helping to solve some of Connecticut’s history’s mysteries. Why is Connecticut called the nutmeg state? What really happened in the legendary Charter Oak? And how did Revolutionary War spies send secret messages during the war? Discover the answers to these mysteries and more through hands-on activities, role-playing, and crafts.

$150 per session for CMCH members, $200 per session for non-members
