Annual Members’ Meeting

We invite all CMCH members to join us for the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History Annual Members’ Meeting to hear about the achievements of the past year.

We are also celebrating the opening of Take Note! 75 Years of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Drawing from archival materials from the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and CMCH collection, Take Note! 75 Years of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra celebrates the vibrant history of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra during their 75th anniversary year. The exhibit highlights the decades-long history of HSO, the people behind the music, and the important collaborations that have musically shaped the Greater Hartford community. It also explores HSO’s Listen, Share, Celebrate! initiative, which is a multi-season community music initiative that studies and then shares the diverse sounds of the Hartford region’s wide array of cultures, religions, and neighborhoods.

The schedule of the evening:
5:30-6:15pm: Annual Members’ Meeting
6:15-8:30pm: Exhibit Opening Reception

Opening remarks will be followed by a performance
by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra Wind Quintet.
